“It’s Not Always Depression” – good story from NY Times

I thought this fit in nicely with the latest edition of Bard. The writer, a therapist, describes a patient she’s worked with who was diagnosed with depression (and received a lot of treatment for it). But the patient wasn’t responding to the treatment. She took a different approach, trying to better understand the person’s experience and suffering. And there’s a sort of happy ending to boot. Have a look, if you haven’t seen this story.
