Today we have a playlist dedicated to strange, alternative music from China. It’s a country simmering with issues ranging from pollution, to internal immigration issues, to ghost cities dotting the countryside. This feeling of being between a turbulent past and a possibly glorious, but possibly dark future creates a raw atmosphere for creativity.
